Targeted Student Population Coordinator / English Learner Designee

Works collaboratively with English Language Learner teachers to exceed the Districts 20% reclassification requirement
Works collaboratively with parents to increase parental involvement opportunities
Coordinates ELA and Math Saturday School Intervention Programs
Provides instructional support to teachers regarding effective strategies for English Learners
Facilitate interdisciplinary/department meetings to analyze assessment data, review student work, discuss best practices, identify student needs, and plan differentiated instruction
Provide professional development which supports the English Learner Master Plan Program implementation
Assist administrators with the enrollment process, administration of assessments, placement of English Learners, and assignment of paraprofessionals
Assist in identifying initial English Language Development levels of newly enrolled English Learners
